Teams and Captains

Bardsey has eight teams that play at all levels of ability, with the Merlins positioned for new and developing players.Teams are made up of 8 players and play at different times and days so there is plenty of choice.

To give new members an opportunity to play in the teams and valuable experience, it is expected that new players will be offered at least a place in a single team so that the club allows players development and progression.

To be eligible to play in a team players must firstly be registered with British Crown Green Bowling Association, be registered with the individual league(s) and in the case of the Veterans be at least 60 years old. Registrations are carried out by the Secretary in March and as requested throughout the season.

If you would like to be considered to play in a team please contact the relevant Captain.
