Our club and green was opened in 1960 by a group of Bardsey residents for the village to enjoy. Over the years we had a waiting list to join and over 100 playing members most of Woodacre Crescent residents played bowls! We hope to have this problem once again!

Bardsey bowling club is located behind the village hall in Bardsey village on Woodacre Lane and is open every day to bowl from dawn until dusk between the months of March and October.

We have a lovely quiet location in Bardsey and the beautiful surrounds are a testament to our members efforts.

We share parking and toilet facilities with the village hall and have our own clubhouse with tea and coffee making facilities.

We have a team of volunteers who maintain our excellent bowling surface called our green team!

Members support the club by gardening, painting, tidying and cleaning, restocking food, catering for socials, fund raising and hosting matches on our green.

We support other local groups and clubs to try bowls, we regularly organise a fun session for the Brownies.

The green is available for corporate or group hire and bowling is an excellent team building activity.
