If you would like to come and try bowls please contact us to arrange a suitable time for a taster session at bardseybowlingclub@gmail.com. Your first session is free and then each subsequent session costs £3 green fees per person. You can play for as long as you like each session,and up to seven paid sessions a season. If you would like to join as a member your green fees are deducted from your membership fees.

We have a number of experienced male and female bowlers, who enjoy teaching new players. Please take a look at our membership options on our Membership page.

You can borrow the bowling equipment from our clubhouse during your visit, all you need to wear are some flat-soled shoes or trainers. We have a range of bowls and sizes for you to use and we recommend that you try several different ones to find out which suit you best.

When you decide to buy your own bowls you can pick up a 2nd hand set for around £50 online and to buy a new set costs between £90-£120 online or from a sports shop. Visit our Link page to see two online bowls shops.

Our club is lucky to have a qualified bowling coach who on request can provide one to one tuition to help new players develop their skills and game knowledge.

To safeguard junior members we have a club safeguarding officer and guidelines on juniors playing at the green.
