CLUB AGM – JAN

Our Annual General Meeting takes place in the Callister Hall where our membership comes together to discuss how our club is running.

SPRING FLING – MARCH

Before the start of the season we all get together with family and friends for an enjoyable evening which is organised by our members and includes a meal and entertainment.

BEER FESTIVAL OPEN GREEN – MARCH

Just as the green opens we support the village hall by sponsoring the beer festival and open the green up to locals and the beer festival visitors.

COFFEE MORNING – MAY and NOV

In May and November we organise our main fund raiser a coffee morning, with stalls selling a variety of gifts and cakes. Our members support this event by organising stalls and baking cakes and giving raffle prizes. We often have an open green on this day for those who would like to try bowls.

BOWLS FOR ALL OPEN GREEN FUN SESSIONS– MONTHLY

To promote social bowling we run several fun sessions which again are aimed at existing members and any prospective new members. A series of games and activities are organised.

SUMMER BOWLING EVENING – JUNE

In June our members organise and host a ticketed catered saturday evening bowling session.

CLUB COMPS – JUNE AND JULY

We run a series of club competitions in singles and doubles formats with the finalists of each competition being able to play in front of the club members on Finals Day. This is a good chance to test your skills and to meet other players from Bardsey, as most of the competitions are handicapped it gives everyone a chance of winning!

FINALS DAY – AUGUST

Our Finals Day sees each of the club competitions played to a finale and also involves fun social bowling for those that didn’t manage to make the finals. On Finals Day again we pre-sell tickets so that our members can cater for the required attendees.

CLUB PRESENTATION DAY – NOVEMBER

We hold our Club Presentation day on a Saturday afternoon in November and this includes an excellent three course meal including a carvery. This event is very popular with our members and their friends and families.
